Unleash Your Inner Craftie – Amazing new crafting social club in Sheung Wan
Last night I went to the opening of a friend’s amazing little craft / coffee / chillout space, called The Crafties. I know this is not a food-related post, but I just had to share it with you all.
Besides cooking (and eating, and traveling), another passion of mine is craft-making. I am an avid amigirumi maker, and make these adorable crocheted dolls as a hobby. So I am SO EXCITED that a space like The Crafties has opened up – a mix of quirky, eclectic and “oh-so-very-cool” decor, alongside sewing machines, jugs of yarn, scrapbooking supplies, and, most importantly, creative, like-minded people that you can share a day of craft-making with!
I can’t wait to see you all in this space – my first crochet lesson will be this May 4th so stay tuned! Check on The Crafties Facebook page for more details!
Happy crafting!
Here are a few samples of my amigirumi works!
And I’ll be teaching how to make these beautiful crocheted flowers (just in time for Mother’s Day!) this May 4th at The Crafties! Sign up as spaces are limited!
